The art of unspoken tension
My short stories live in the space beneath the surface, where tension builds quietly and nothing is quite what it seems.
I deliberatly use minimal dialogue, because what matters is behaviour, atmosphere, and the subtle moments most people overlook. Each story is driven by character, by the choices they make, and the consequences that follow.
Not everything is explained. Not everything is resolved. But a feeling always lingers.

Second Nature is a short story about control, abuse, grief, love and loss. It's calm on the surface, but something else entirely underneath.
Set in an ordinary space, the tension builds through small, deliberate moments, where behaviour reveals more than words ever could.
The abusive partner is not given a voice. That absence is intentional.
Nothing is rushed. Nothing is wasted.
And by the time it shifts, it’s already too late.
